Summary:

When you use MapVerse, you are making a difference in the Minecraft mapping scene. This content policy helps ensure all content is up to our high standard.

If you see any content on MapVerse that does not live up to our standards in this policy, please report it using the button on the map’s page.

We do not allow spam, anything offensive/sensitive, misleading content (such as clickbait), hate speech, predatory behavior, harmful/dangerous content, misinformation that could cause real-world harm and content featuring regulated or illegal goods on https://mapverse.net and any related MapVerse in-game Minecraft servers, official browsers or official launchers.

This policy applies to all UGC on MapVerse; we cannot regulate content on our site if it is not hosted/available on MapVerse.

Terms

“Policy”: This content policy as a whole.

“MapVerse”: https://mapverse.net and any related MapVerse in-game Minecraft servers, official browsers or official launchers.

“UGC”: User generated content.

“Player”: Users that play/use/download UGC on MapVerse.

“Mapmaker”: Users that create UGC on and/or for MapVerse.

Spam and deceptive content

We do not allow content that intends to mislead, scam, defraud or scam on MapVerse related services.

Sensitive content

We do not allow content that could harm our players or mapmakers, including sex/nudity, self-harm and harm towards children.

Violent or dangerous content

We do not allow content that features hate speech, predatory behavior, extreme violence, nor any other content that promotes harmful or dangerous behavior.

Content featuring regulated goods

Content that features illegal or regulated goods aren’t allowed on MapVerse. This includes instructions on how to make/sell firearms outside of Minecraft, however including firearms inside of Minecraft in the context of “battle-royale”, “deathmatch” or similar style content is allowed.

Misinformation

Types of misleading or deceptive content with serious risk of causing harm to an individual, group, Player(s) or Mapmaker(s), online or otherwise, are not allowed, as well as promoting harmful treatments, remedies, certain types of manipulated content, such as deepfakes or content that interferes with democratic processes.

Please take these rules seriously. If any Mapmaker or User doesn’t follow this policy or tries to harm any other Mapmaker or User, employee, volunteer or MapVerse as a whole, we will respond based on the harmfulness of their actions, which may include removing monetization, limiting accounts, bans or legal action.
